How self-employment affects your benefit

NDOL has published no specific side-business rule; all wages must be reported weekly, no benefit is paid in a week you earn more than your weekly benefit, and you must stay able and available for work.

Wages up to 1/4 of your weekly benefit are disregarded, and wages above that are deducted from the weekly benefit (Neb. Rev. Stat. 48-625).
