- Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (IDVR): The IDVR Field Services Policy Manual (Section XII) treats self-employment as one vocational goal option. It supports 'active, not passive or speculative' self-employment and may require assessment of feasibility before committing to a plan.
- Medicaid: Idaho expanded Medicaid, so the new work requirement applies to expansion adults: 80 hours or $580 net a month, and hours on your business count. DHW says reporting of work/community engagement (80 hours a month) is effective 1 Jan 2027, applied at renewals ending on or after that date. Applicants must comply for 3 months before approval.
